BONITO FISH BAR – a fresh new concept within a relaxed social atmosphere, to enjoy fish and seafood prepared crudo, pan seared, roasted, deep fried and more.
BONITO offers guests fresh fish and seafood that is 80% sustainably caught from the outer ocean regions in the archipelago – Bali, Lombok, Flores and Timor – along with imported premium crustacean.
We inspect every piece of the catch of day to ensure it meets our standards for premium quality, then we cut and prepare everything in-house.
We work with local fishermen fishing only what is in season, responsibly line caught or farmed. We practice no waste policy, all part of our fish are used.
Bonito also offers freshly cut fillets and shellfish beautifully presented in our enclosed display for guests to cook at home.
BONITO is the sister restaurant of MAURI Seminyak, Bali by Chef Restaurateur Maurizio Bombini. “I’ve always wanted to develop a casual dining destination where people who share a passion for great seafood, exquisite wines and good conversation can hang out several times a week with simple, comforting and friendly cuisine. It’s an exciting second adventure and we can’t wait to welcome our guests”, said Maurizio Bombini
BONITO is also a retail market showcasing freshly cut fillets and shellfish beautifully displayed for selection in a chilled, enclosed counter display for guests to prepare at home.
