BONITO is the sister restaurant of MAURI Seminyak, Bali by Chef Restaurateur Maurizio Bombini. “Iâve always wanted to develop a casual fish and seafood restaurant where people who share a passion for simple yet delicious food, exquisite wines and good conversation. About Chef Wira
Chef Wira is from Singaraja region in the North Bali. He started his career at the Bvlgari Hotel in 2012 where he first meet Chef Maurizio Bombini. After an experience at the Ritz Carlton, Bali in Nusa Dua, he decided to join Chef Maurizio again in 2015 at the Mandapa, A Ritz Carlton Reserve.
He later joined Chef Maurizio for the opening of MAURI Restaurant in 2018 and in February 2022, he became Executive Sous Chef and is now in charge of MAURIâs sister restaurant, BONITO FISH BAR.
Wira is an extremely talented Chef who has a deep understanding of Chef Maurizioâs vision. With his team support, he manages to recreate Pugliaâs taste with mainly local ingredients and manages the food quality and consistency.

BONITO also sells freshly cut fillets and shellfish for your groceries!
You can check our beautiful display selection in the chilled, enclosed counter display
and take away your preferred items. Our Chef will carefully cut and prepare them for you.
We vacuum-pack and seal them with a bag of ice to ensure its freshness.

Private Events
BONITO FISH BAR also welcomes groups of any size on the second
floor which houses an indoor, air-conditioned room that can
accommodate 20 guests, perfect for private events. Larger groups
are able to buy-out the entire restaurant. From birthdays to
corporate event, we can cater for small or large weddings, private
functions or birthday celebrations at the restaurant or in any
outside venue in Bali. We are able to provide a variety of exquisite
options from canapés, finger foods, buffet and barbeque catering
in Bali. We work closely with our client to provide a menu that
suitable to the occasion and requirement.
